Two-Vehicle Crash Disrupts Traffic at Major Osoyoos Intersection

A two-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 97 and Highway 3 in Osoyoos during Labour Day, prompting a response from Osoyoos Fire Rescue.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, Osoyoos Fire Rescue responded to a car crash on Highway 97 and Highway 3 in Osoyoos during Labour Day at around 3:18 p.m. Seven firefighters with two trucks attended the scene, and additional agencies including RCMP, BC Emergency Health Services, and Collision Craft were present.

Clearing up the scene took place after setting up traffic control, and Osoyoos Fire Rescue returned to the fire hall by 4:15 p.m.

The incident occurred during a busy period on Labour Day, but no further details have been released about injuries or damage.
