According to the Keremeos Review, Oliver hospital has experienced its second emergency room closure in under three days. The closure will last for 17 hours, starting June 26 at 5 p.m., and ending June 27 at 10 a.m.
During this time, patients are advised to call 911 or HealthLink BC for non-emergency assistance. Other inpatient services continue to operate normally at South Okanagan General Hospital.
The City of Oliver has also raised bear awareness following a recent attack on the Salmon Arm trail.
