South Okanagan's Canada Day Celebrations Offer Diverse Activities
Residents in the South Okanagan can look forward to an array of events this year, with various communities hosting unique festivities on Canada Day.
Residents in the South Okanagan can partake in diverse Canada Day celebrations this year, with several communities organizing unique events on June 26th. Osoyoos hosts its Cherry Fiesta/Canada Day event, focusing on community engagement and featuring a parade and water fight. Meanwhile, Oliver features a motorcycle show and dancing good times with headphones from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a Canada Day breakfast at the Oliver Senior Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In addition to these events, See Ya Later Ranch in Okanagan Falls hosts a Shania Twain tribute concert on Canada Day, while Nk'Mip Cellars Fireworks Viewing Party for adults aged 19 and older takes place at the Osoyoos Museum. The 777 Lounge + Club in Oliver will host an after-fireworks party with DJ and drinks from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., providing a vibrant evening of entertainment.
The South Okanagan Big Band plays at Oliver Community Park on Thursday, June 25th, offering another opportunity for community engagement and musical enjoyment ahead of Canada Day festivities.
