Ron Sargeant Announces Run for Osoyoos Council

Ron Sargeant has announced through Facebook that he intends to run for a seat on Osoyoos Town Council in the upcoming municipal election.

Sargeant said he is putting the finishing touches on his formal campaign announcement, which he expects to release within the next few days.

He also confirmed that he has accepted Dustin Sikora’s invitation for candidates and community members to attend an upcoming public town hall meeting. Sikora announced the meeting in the fourth installment of his video series to the community.

The meeting will be held Monday, August 31, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Sonora Community Centre.

“I look forward to introducing myself and answering all your questions on Monday,” Sargeant wrote.
