The Pittsburgh Penguins have selected both Osoyoos twins Liam and Markus Ruck in the NHL Entry Draft. This selection follows their successful seasons with Medicine Hat Tigers last year where they scored a combined total of 210 points (with Liam scoring 104 and Markus 106). Both players will be joining Markus at the University of North Dakota, which he has committed to for the fall of 2027-28. As center, Markus is known for his playmaking skills, while Liam plays as a shooter on the wing. Their unique bond was evident in their hockey careers; they have never spent more than four days apart since birth.
