Osoyoos Mayoral Candidate Sikora Discusses Water Management and Tax Solutions

In response to Osoyoos' water management crisis, mayoral candidate Dustin Sikora proposes innovative tax solutions that could alleviate financial strain.

Dustin Sikora, a prominent candidate for the Osoyoos mayoral position, has outlined his vision to address the municipality's pressing challenges. One of the main issues facing Osoyoos is its drinking water supply, which contains carcinogenic compounds exceeding federal guidelines. Recognizing the critical need for immediate action, Sikora suggests that freezing property taxes until alternative sources of water are investigated could help manage the financial burden associated with fixing these water issues.

In addition to his proposal on tax solutions, Sikora emphasizes his commitment to protecting children and seniors by advocating for their health and safety. As a protective father figure in the community, he pledges to ensure that vulnerable populations remain safe and well-cared for.
