Osoyoos Desert Park to Host High-Stakes Harness Racing Meet in Fall 2026
After a hiatus of over a decade, Osoyoos Desert Park is set to welcome high-caliber harness racing with the return of up to 20 race cards. The Desert Park Raceway will feature a newly rebuilt racetrack designed for harness racing and managed by the Western Canada Horse Racing Association (WCHRA). The move follows an agreement between WCHRA and the Desert Park Exhibition Society, marking the first time horse racing has returned to Osoyoos since 2014.
