Osoyoos Coyotes Showcase New Look in Home Opener, Secure Dominant Win

The Osoyoos Coyotes kicked off their new BCHC (B.C. Hockey Challenge) campaign with a commanding 7-0 victory over the Summerland Jets at Sun Bowl Arena on September 19th, 2026. The team's refreshed look with navy blue, tan, and white branding was evident from the start of the game.

Owner Justin Styffe praised the game as some of the best seen in years for South Okanagan. The team's resilience was on full display, winning despite losing a game the night before.

The Coyotes' new look was immediately noticeable with navy blue jerseys and tan pants complemented by white tops. Jeyvn Gill scored the first goal just 18 seconds into play, setting an exciting tone for the match.

Julian Galenza's hat-trick helped seal a comfortable win over Summerland Jets, who struggled to contain the Coyotes' attacking prowess throughout the game.
