Oliver Woman Sentenced to House Arrest for Violent Home Break-in

A woman in Oliver, BC has been sentenced to house arrest following a violent break-in where she smashed glass and injured two people.

A woman in Oliver, British Columbia has been sentenced to a twelve-month conditional sentence with house arrest for the first six months. During this period, she will be required to adhere to a curfew from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Denise Lalonde Velazquez, aged thirty, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering on September 2, 2024. The incident occurred when two people were present in the home where she entered without permission. She smashed glass panels and caused injuries during her violent confrontation with the occupants.
