Oliver Town Seeks Water Conservation Amid Critical Well Levels

The town of Oliver has implemented Stage 3 water restrictions, limiting lawn watering to one day per week in response to critically low rural and municipal wells.

In response to critically low levels of both rural and municipal wells in the town of Oliver, Stage 3 water restrictions have been implemented. Residents are advised to reduce their water usage by a staggering 50% and avoid non-essential uses.

Residents will be permitted to water their lawns on either Friday or Wednesday depending on whether they have even or odd-numbered addresses respectively. This measure is aimed at minimizing the strain on local water resources, which are under severe pressure due to drought conditions.
