Oliver Teen's Quest for Comic Book Hero Status

A 16-year-old Oliver, BC teenager diagnosed with short bowel syndrome and liver disease is taking on a new challenge to raise awareness for children’s health issues through the Stan Lee Super Kid contest. His teachers and classmates are supporting his campaign by voting online.

A 16-year-old Oliver, BC teenager named Taylor Giroux is participating in the Stan Lee Super Kid challenge to become a comic book superhero like Spider-Man.

Since his birth, Giroux has been hospitalized frequently due to his health conditions including short bowel syndrome and liver disease. His teachers and classmates are now supporting him by voting online for his campaign until November 19th.
