According to Times Chronicle, the Oliver Fire Department trained for house fire rescues on Thursday evening, October 8. The training session focused on ladder placement and the VEIS method.

The VEIS/VES is a quick searching technique used for rooms isolated from the fire area. This training helps improve the department's response to real house fires.

Photos taken during the training show smoke from battle foggers in an older structure, highlighting the importance of preparedness and safety protocols.
