Okanagan Hardware Store Joins Home Hardware Network After Expansion
Oliver's Okanagan Hardware and Supply, an independent local retailer with over two decades of experience, has transitioned to become part of the Home Hardware network after expanding its operations in 2014.
After operating as an independent local retailer for over two decades, Oliver's Okanagan Hardware and Supply has decided to join the Home Hardware network. The store, which was founded in 1999 by Logan Malmberg, made this decision following a significant expansion of its operations in 2014.
Logan Malmberg, the owner of the family-owned business, chose to align with Home Hardware due to their commitment to supporting independent businesses and maintaining strong local relationships. John Pierce, chief retail operations officer at Home Hardware, praised the trust Oliver's Okanagan Hardware and Supply had built with its customers over the years.
The transition to join the Home Hardware network marked a significant milestone for the store, as it doubled in size during this period to accommodate an expanded range of products, including lumber offerings. The move also signifies Malmberg’s vision to continue operating his business under the Home Hardware umbrella while maintaining its local identity and community ties.
