New Wildfire on Anarchist Mountain at Raven Hill

A new wildfire has broken out on Anarchist Mountain at Raven Hill, near a previous fire site, according to the BC Wildfire Service.

A new wildfire has been reported on Anarchist Mountain at Raven Hill, near a previous fire site. The BC Wildfire Service confirmed the fire is out of control and is being responded to by 11 personnel and two helicopters.

The cause of the fire was determined to be lightning. In contrast, the fire had previously been under control just a week ago at the same location.

The Osoyoos Indian Band (OIB) land is where the new wildfire has broken out.
