Town of Osoyoos Approves Accessory Dwelling at New Braeburn Place

The Town of Osoyoos has granted a Development Variance Permit (DVP) for a single-level rental suite at 6 Braeburn Place, allowing the construction of an accessory dwelling unit.

According to a report by Times Chronicle, the Town of Osoyoos has approved an accessory dwelling unit at 6 Braeburn Place in New Braeburn Place. The request was made by Michelle Fritz.

The Development Variance Permit (DVP) was granted unanimously by council, with no negative impact on neighbourhood character cited as a reason for approval.

The proposed accessory dwelling will feature its own garage facing the rear of the property and will be designed to blend in with the surrounding neighborhood. A six-foot fence will obscure the view of the structure from the street.
