According to a report by the Times Chronicle, the Town of Osoyoos affordable housing program is under review due to changes in its Official Community Plan (OCP).
Residents will have the opportunity to weigh in on whether the Non-Market Affordable Housing (NMAH) program should continue. The NMAH focuses on creating small-lot single detached, two-family, and row housing.
The Town's Planning department handles all applications related to Small-Lot Market Apartment (SMA) development. Council can choose between amending the OCP or holding a public hearing.
