Ken Davreux to Run for Osoyoos Town Council

Osoyoos realtor Ken Davreux seeks re-election to town council, focusing on key issues like drinking water and communication.

Ken Davreux, a local realtor, is seeking re-election to the Osoyoos town council. According to Times Chronicle (https://www.timeschronicle.ca/the-right-questions-produce-good-decisions-davreux), Davreux emphasizes asking the right questions for good decisions.

Davreux's top issues include improving the town's drinking water and communication systems. He proposes hiring a communications person and exploring public-private partnerships to address these concerns.

Additionally, Davreux suggests using town-owned properties for medical support in Osoyoos and hiring a new director of planning and development services. While he acknowledges the affordable housing shortage is beyond the town's means, he believes zoning power can be used to address this issue.

Davreux aims to resolve drinking water issues within four years and plans to start metered billing next year after data collection.
