Youth Councillor Nominated for UBCM Trip

Dallas Crawford, Records Management Summer Student at Town of Oliver, has been nominated for the UBCM Convention through the Keith Thom Memorial Scholarship.

Dallas Crawford was nominated for the UBCM Convention by the Town of Oliver, according to Times Chronicle. The nomination was awarded through the Keith Thom Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship covers the costs of the convention from September 14-18 in Vancouver, and Crawford will receive mentorship and shadow representatives during the event.

The Town of Oliver will cover the initial costs, which will be reimbursed by SILGA upon receipt of receipts. Crawford is also a Youth Ambassador and Chapter Lead for BC Youth Council.
