Watermain Work to Interrupt Service for Some Osoyoos Residents

Residents on Loon Crescent and 72nd Avenue will have their water shut off on Tuesday as part of the 89th Street Reconstruction Capital Project.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, watermain work will interrupt service for some Osoyoos residents on Tuesday.

The work involves a watermain tie-in for the 89th Street Reconstruction Capital Project. Residents who were notified last week can expect their water to be shut off during this time.

Residents are advised to store water before the shutdown begins, as discoloured water may occur during the work, lasting up to 10 minutes. The municipality will monitor and restore water as soon as possible.
