Waste Management Deal Extended for Osoyoos Municipality
Osoyoos, a community in British Columbia's Okanagan region, has extended its waste collection contract with Waste Collections of Canada through the year 2032.
The Osoyoos community in British Columbia's Okanagan region has renewed its waste collection agreement with Waste Collections of Canada for a period extending through the year 2032. This new contract includes comprehensive coverage for garbage, recycling, and yard waste, including twice-yearly unlimited pickups for garden waste. Additionally, users will be able to opt into a user-pay tag-a-bag service for excess waste at a cost of $8.38 per residence per month starting in January. The existing agreement with other municipalities like Oliver, Penticton, Summerland, Keremeos, and the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen is part of a broader regional contract.
