The Town of Osoyoos is seeking public input on its wildfire resiliency plan, which aims to improve the town's ability to respond to and recover from wildfires.
Residents can share their experiences with wildfires and recommend FireSmart activities for the town through a survey shared by Osoyoos Fire Rescue.
The plan is funded by the B.C. Community Resiliency Investment Program and is expected to be completed in November.
A Community Open House will be held on September 25 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Sonora Community Centre, where residents can complete the survey and share their thoughts online or in person.
