Town of Osoyoos Proclaims Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month
The Town of Osoyoos joins other communities in recognizing October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos reports that the Town of Osoyoos has proclaimed October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
According to a letter received by town staff from Kristin Pichoskie, founder of Oak's Tree of Love initiative, the aim is to raise awareness about pregnancy loss and infant death.
The Oliver Council voted to support the proclamation for October, with October 15 designated as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day in Oliver. The Town Hall will be lit in pink and blue on Oct. 15 to honor the proclamation.
