Town of Oliver Reclaims Okanagan Water Conservation Championship

The Town of Oliver has won the Okanagan water conservation championship for the second time, beating its neighbour and past champion City of Armstrong.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, the Town of Oliver has won the Okanagan water conservation championship for the second time. The Okanagan Basin Water Board announced Oliver's win for highest number of pledges per capita.

This marks a reversal from last year when Osoyoos took the title, and the Town of Oliver reclaimed it this year. Oliver beat its neighbour and past champion City of Armstrong to take the crown.

The Make Water Work contest promotes water conservation strategies and awards communities with the most pledges. The Town of Oliver's win is a testament to its residents' efforts in reducing their water usage.
