Residents in the Vintners Creek area of Osoyoos, British Columbia, were forced to intervene when a wooden tiki hut was toppled by strong winds. The incident occurred around noon on Saturday and involved six people working together to move the structure out of danger.
The event was preceded by an Environment Canada severe thunderstorm watch, highlighting the extreme weather conditions that contributed to the destruction of the tiki hut in what proved to be a significant community disruption.
