The South Okanagan General Hospital's emergency room (ER) will be temporarily closed overnight on Tuesday, effective from 5 p.m. onwards. Patients requiring urgent medical attention should instead visit the Penticton Regional Hospital for care.

All inpatient services at South Okanagan General Hospital will remain operational during this period. For non-emergency health inquiries or assistance, residents can contact HealthLink BC or visit their website. In case of life-threatening emergencies, individuals are advised to call 911.
