South Okanagan Firefighting Crews Support Clinton During Wildfires

Firefighting crews from South Okanagan support Clinton during wildfires.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, firefighting crews from South Okanagan have been supporting the community of Clinton as wildfires intensify in the area. The Oliver Fire Department and Willowbrook Volunteer Fire Department sent crews to provide structural protection in Clinton, with OFD members staying overnight to ensure the safety of residents.

Local crews continue to be well-staffed for local incidents, while Anarchist Mountain firefighters supported up north over the weekend. The BC Wildfire Service controls small fires on Anarchist Mountain. Police are currently seeking a missing man in the South Okanagan region.
