Semi Cab Fire on Highway 3 Doused by Osoyoos Crews

A semi cab fire on Highway 3 in Osoyoos was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, a semi cab fire on Highway 3 in Osoyoos was doused by firefighters from the Osoyoos Fire Rescue, assisted by RCMP and Anarchist Mountain Fire Department. The incident occurred around 7:40 a.m. Friday, August 28th, 2026.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which was quickly brought under control by the responding crews.

The fire was extinguished within minutes of arrival at the scene, ensuring public safety and preventing any potential damage or disruption to traffic on Highway 3.
