Porch Geese Trend Gains Popularity in Regina, Canada
A nostalgic trend is making a comeback in Regina, as porch geese become increasingly popular among families.
According to Global News Okanagan, a trend that started in the '70s and '80s is now making a comeback in Regina. Porch geese, which are often dressed up with second-hand clothes and DIY outfits, have gained significant interest among families.
A Facebook group called Porch Goose Club of Canada has over 14,000 members, showcasing creative goose models and DIY outfits shared online. Local businesses like Dutch Growers Home and Garden are selling hundreds of goose models, including a popular one named 'Giddy'.
The trend is not limited to Regina; similar interest has been seen in Lethbridge, Alberta, where the 6th highest Crime Severity Index was reported. In Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc and Osoyoos Indian Band, residents are also embracing the nostalgic trend.
