Osoyoos Water Outage Affects Residents

Temporary water outage reported in parts of Osoyoos due to construction mishap.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, a temporary water outage has affected residents along 89th Street between 70th Avenue and Kingfisher Drive in Osoyoos. The outage occurred on Friday afternoon due to a construction mishap.

A town crew is working to restore the service, advising residents to run cold taps for clear water. Osoyoos Town says repairs are underway and temporary discolouration may occur after restoration.

Residents can expect the water to be restored within 10 minutes of clearing the system.
