Osoyoos Rotary Club Commences $100K Fundraising Drive for Playground Upgrades

The Osoyoos Rotary Club has initiated its fundraising campaign to upgrade and make accessible Kinsmen Park's playground, aiming to raise a total of $250,000. The club has already secured commitments totaling $30,000 from the Town of Osoyoos and plans to leverage an additional $100,000 through various events.

The Osoyoos Rotary Club has launched a $100,000 fundraising campaign to upgrade and make accessible Kinsmen Park's playground. The project aims to replace aging equipment with new play structures and improve accessibility features in line with the Town of Osoyoos' parks and trails master plan.

The club has already committed $30,000 towards the project and plans to raise an additional $100,000 through a series of events including a 'western-themed evening event' scheduled for September 26. The fundraising campaign will feature live and silent auctions, dancing, BBQ buffets, and other entertainment.
