Osoyoos Fire Rescue Reflects on Bald Range Wildfire Deployment

Local Osoyoos fire crews deployed for 10 days to support wildfire operations and neighboring communities.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, Osoyoos Fire Rescue deployed for the Bald Range wildfire from August 7th to August 17th, a total of ten days. During this time, 19 members rotated through the assignment to support wildfire operations and neighboring communities.

The fire is still active in the Summerland area, with crews continuing to work towards its containment. Members of Osoyoos Fire Rescue have expressed gratitude for their time and commitment to helping those affected by the blaze.
