Oliver RCMP Commander Riding for Cop for Kids Ride Fundraiser

Sgt. Laurie Rock, Oliver RCMP commander, is riding to raise money for children in need.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, Sgt. Laurie Rock, Oliver RCMP commander, is participating in the Cop for Kids Ride fundraiser.

The ride aims to raise funds for children in need, especially those with medical issues.

As of Monday morning, Sgt. Rock had raised over $4,000 for the event, which will take place from September 11-20 across southeast British Columbia.

The ride includes stops in Peachland, Summerland, Penticton, and Oliver on Friday.
