Oliver Murder Trial Set to Begin in September After Translation Challenges

The Oliver murder trial, which has been delayed due to translation issues involving witness testimony from Spanish to English, is set to commence at the Supreme Court in September following approval for an outside translation company.

Crown prosecutors have sought and received approval from Judge Lynett Jung to use an outside translation company for audio recordings instead of accessing the original Spanish transcript, which was deemed problematic due to its poor quality.
