Oliver Fire Department Receives New Breathing Apparatuses

The Town of Oliver approved funding for three new breathing apparatuses.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, the Town of Oliver has approved funding for three new breathing apparatuses.

The $30,000 grant from the 2025 Volunteer and Composite Fire Department Equipment and Training Grant will be added to the existing four-year budget item for personal protective equipment.

Oliver Fire Department aims to replace all four breathing apparatuses annually, not just the three new ones, as part of their 2026-2031 Financial Plan as a capital expense.
