According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, the Oliver Creates Art Show and Sale has been cancelled in advance due to the wildfire situation.
The event, which was planned for more than 40 years, had several new features set to be added this year, including a felted yurt.
Organizers decided to cancel out of respect for affected families and communities. Artists and artisans who registered will receive full refunds and priority updates on future events.
