Maverick Winery Wins Top Small Winery Award at National Wine Awards

Oliver's Maverick Winery takes top honors as Canada's fifth-best small winery and second in BC.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, Maverick Estate Winery has won the top small winery award at the 2026 WineAlign National Awards.

The winery, located between Oliver and Osoyoos on Highway 97, received four golds and two silvers at the competition.

Vineyard manager Josh Ravell credited detailed site analysis for quality wines, which contributed to the winery's success.

Maverick has been one of the top 10 small producers in Canada since 2021, when it was third nationally.
