Construction Begins on New Oliver Pump Track

New pump track construction starts at Lions Park

Construction has begun on a new outdoor recreational facility, the Oliver pump track, located in Lions Park. The project was awarded to Canadian Ramp Company and Velosolutions Canada by the Town of Oliver's Recreation department.

The construction aims to encourage physical activity and enhance amenities at Lions Park. Funding for the project comes from the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Area 'C' Community Works fund and local donations, with a commitment of $20,000 from the Kiwanis Club of Oliver.

Most of the construction will take place in the south end of Lions Park over the next three weeks. Active trails, fitness equipment, and the Small Wheels Park will remain open during this time.
