BC Wildfire Service Responds to New Fire Near Cawston

A new wildfire was reported near Cawston, south-west of Buckhorn Recreation Site.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, a wildfire sparked in the Cawston area, south-west of Buckhorn Recreation Site. The Lower Similkameen Indian Band reported the blaze to BC Wildfire Service.

As of 1:30 p.m., crews were heading to the fire to respond with BC Wildfire Service and LSIB crews.
