Baldy Mountain Community Works Together to Upgrade Local Hiking and Snowshoeing Trails

The Baldy Mountain community is excited about trail network improvements, including new signage, colour-coded trail markers, and two new trails.

According to Castanet Oliver/Osoyoos, the Baldy Mountain Community Association has been working on trail network improvements in collaboration with the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC.

The community is excited about the new developments, which include two new trails: 'Sugar Top' and 'Frog Bog'. The trails now feature colour-coded markers for easier navigation.

Volunteers maintain the east-side trails for free, providing a backcountry experience for users. The community association encourages users to prepare for natural environment and changing conditions.

The improvements are part of the Baldy Mountain Community Association's labour of love initiative.
