An Oliver senior in his 70s has been sentenced to a conditional discharge with 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a pub employee. The court heard that the man impulsively slapped the server’s buttocks while she was collecting payment at a local establishment. In addition to probation, he must complete 50 hours of community service and submit a DNA sample.
