The Osoyoos twins, Liam and Markus Ruck, have been honored with the distinction of being named to the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) All-Star Teams for their exceptional performances in the 2025-26 season. Notably, Liam was selected as a First All-Star Team member, amassing an impressive total of 104 points across 68 games, including 45 goals and 59 assists. Markus, on the other hand, secured his place on the Second All-Star Team with a remarkable tally of 108 points, culminating in the Bob Clarke Trophy and Top Scorer Award.
This achievement marks not only their first time being named to CHL All-Star Teams but also sets a record as the first set of siblings in CHL history to rank first and second in scoring during a single season. Their standout performances have propelled them to leadership positions within their respective leagues, with Liam leading the Western Hockey League (WHL) in goals and owning the top power play position. Markus was named Central Division leader.
The twins' achievements are expected to further enhance their prospects for future professional hockey careers; Liam is ranked 20th among NHL Draft Prospects Rankings, while Markus holds a similar position at 23rd.
